What are your fall-related elements in your wedding?

For example, having fall cake flavors (pumpkin, carrot, spice, etc) or pies/cobblers instead? Homemade caramel apples or apple butter for favors? Traditional Thanksgiving dinner as your meal? What all are you including?

Details:

  1. decorated pumpkin center pieces and sparkling branches decorating the seats at the end of each row to symbolize that the leaves are falling,
  2. my cousin and his wife got married in october and used small pumkins, pine cones, and red cranberries in their center pieces with fall faux leaves on the tables. They also used a dark red, orange, and brown theme. Their flowers were all orange, it was really beautiful.
  3. I absolutely love fall weddings, and my fiance and I both love the fall season. I originally wanted to have a fall wedding, but we decided to get married sooner. Bridesmaid dresses as chocolate brown with fall colored roses (roses are my favorite flower). I was going to have small jack-be-little pumpkins as place card holders. Candles as centerpieces with a few flowers in fall colors (like rust, orange and yellow colored roses... maybe sunflowers and gerbera daisies too). I found tiny fall leaves garland (http://www.silkflowersandmore.com/images/fall5/d396.JPG) and would have incorporated that by putting it around napkins as holders, putting them around candles and in other various areas. I would have used twinkle lights and fall colored paper lanterns as lighting. I love candied/caramel apples, so we would have given those out as favors. If we couldn't get those, we would have given out the candy apple pops as favors. They are easier to get! =) Don't know what we would have done for dinner (as in the choice for food) but we would have incorporated my fiance's favorite as desert... apple pie! My fiance's mom loves carrot cake, and we were thinking of doing that as our wedding cake. We wanted to have hot apple cider as one of the available beverages as well as hot chocolate. Just as a side note, dry hot chocolate or dry spiced cider mixes would have made a cute favor for our guests! I can think of a lot of cute ideas for a fall wedding, but this is what we would have done. Oh how I love fall! =)
